The Sterling Alaska Railroad USAF Locomotive page

There are three Air Force bases on the Alaska Railroad mainline. At Eielson AFB and Clear AFS they run their own locomotives. When the locomotives need any major type of maintenance they end up at Fairbanks or Anchorage ARR shops for the work.
